This is done using unit operations such as ball millers or dry mixer equipment. Subsequent processing entails net forming followed by sintering, to achieve desired physical and electrical properties. Better homogeneity of the starting composition will always lead to improved device properties and processing efficiencies--allowing device manufacturers to reduce costs and come closer to realizing the theoretical capabilities of their devices. Our proprietary process provides superior homogeneity than can be obtained through physical mixing because it is accomplished chemically--at the atomix level. At Atomix, we offer state of the art proprietary compositions of atomically mixed metal oxides using our proprietary technology to provide the ultimate in homogeneity of starting materials. The use of chemistry rather than physical mixing is the next logical step in the evolution of the electronic ceramics industry--pushing the envelope closer to the theoretical capabilities of existing compositions, and opening the door for new developments in materials and devices. Our goal is to develop close alliances with our customers as they--and we--work to merge chemical and ceramic processing technologies. |
